HOW IT GOT STARTED

My name is Mike and my girlfriend is Lea (pronounced Lee).  One of the things that attracted us to each other is our love to travel and explore.  We love finding new places that are out in the wilderness and checking them out.  We also love writing and taking pictures so when she mentioned to me one night we should do a blog about our travels, the idea stuck and took root.  We want to share our experiences with you and hopefully explain the places in detail enough that will make you love the outdoors as much as we do.  We also want to be your virtual guide to these places and hopefully avoid some of the mistakes we made when visiting these great off the beaten path destinations.  We hope you  will find this website useful and entertaining all the same time!!!
